Kaine Kiyozu's Challenge to Caligo

Kaine entered the arena, a hard look on his face. He was determined to fight the Quincy he heard about, Caligo. He wanted a friendly challenge, to scale the Quincy's power.

Strapped to Kaine's back, was his trusty spear, Rari-Oro. He noticed that this time, the arena took on the appearance of a dark, windblown plain, where storms raged above. There was tons of wind power in this arena, blowing even the biggest of trees out of the ground.

Kaine felt stronger then he ever felt before, but knew that the Quincy would probably use this to his advantage, and would not be too cocky.

Caligo was sitting with his legs crossed. His sword was attached to his jacket. The wind blew his hair around and it moved away from his scarred eye. There was someone else approaching.

Kaine walked towards the Quincy. He pulled out a notepad that he had previously written on.

He looked at the notepad, then up, at the quincy. The description was a perfect match.

This Quincy had a sword attatched to his trench coat. He was also not in the traditional Quincy jacket.

"Greetings, Quincy." Kaine said as he approached the Quincy.

Rari-Oro glowed white, telling Kaine that the Reiatsu was definetely that of a Quincy.

Kaine was several steps away, in case he tried to attack.

Caligo looked up. His scarred eye a cloudy grey-blue. His other eye a more bold, dark blue. His face was expressionless, like always, but inside his mind was swarming.
A blast of wind struck Caligo, nearly knocking him off-balance. The wind seemed to shift and radiate off the new arrival. Caligo now knew why he was drawn here, there would be a battle, that much was obvious.

Caligo was instantly lost in a memory of his childhood:
A storm was brewing on the horizon, the wind was all that had reached him here. He was following a strange cat.

Caligo gets up and walked towards the Bount. He kept walking, parallel to his memories, straight passed the Bount. Then suddenly once Caligo is passed him, Caligo spins, and round-house kicks him in the back. The Bount goes flying, but as it does the wind surges in the direction the Bount is traveling. It picks Caligo up off his feet and sends him flying towards the Bount.

Caligo skids across the grass.

In his memory:
He slipped, he was walking too close to the edge of a cliff over-looking the beach. He was scraped all over and he looked up to the top of the cliff at the strange cat. It stared down at him with its yellow eyes flashing.

"Shatter, Rari-Oro!"
the bounto chanted.

The spear on his back glowed with a silver-white light, and shifted, it floated of his back and he stabbed the ground, and twirled with two hands, kicking the Quincy in the Face as he was drawn by the wind.

Kaine pointed his palm at the Quincy and a huge gust of wind drew him closer.

Kaine demanded
"Whats your name, Quincy?"

"I am Kaine Kiyozu, a Bounto in Training..."

Caligo peered, both at the cat and the Bounto in front of him.

“The dead need no name.” Caligo said and drew his sword. It hissed and crackled as the lightning aura surrounding it supercharged the ever moving wind. Every time a gust hit the sword thunder cracked.

Caligo was prepared. This was going to be an interesting fight.

He stood, prepared to attack or defend as was necessary. He was going to show his powers. His true colors would be unleashed.
